Stock Gaylard Glamping Camps

Stock Gaylard Glamping Camps offer a range of unique accommodation on a small traditional Dorset country estate, about 4 miles from Sturminster Newton and 8 miles from Sherborne. Completely off-grid, with solar powered energy, guests can enjoy a truly relaxing stay. Catering for families or groups, dogs are also welcome.

Parson’s Camp is a quirky retired double-decker tour bus with an adjacent hut, sleeping up to 10 people. The bus has 4 single beds, a kitchen and seating with an al fresco dining area provided on the top deck. Additional beds are provided in the adjacent bunkhouse and shepherd’s hut, with a shower in the converted horse box.

Brickles and Withybed Camps are each yurt villages, sleeping 12 or 15 people, in 3 sleeping yurts and a living yurt with living area and kitchen. Outside, there is a camping kitchen, firepit and picnic table. The more secluded Sawpits Wagon for 2 has a double bed, kitchen area, dining table inside and out, and private shower room.

Wildlife walks are available from the doorstep. There are also plenty of other walks nearby or visitors can hire a bike from the local town of Stalbridge and enjoy numerous trailways. Other outdoors pursuits include quad biking, archery, high ropes course, assault courses and more. The site is also within an hour of the south coast.
