Ardlui Hotel

Built in the early 1800s as a hunting residence, the 3-Star Ardlui Hotel is on a hillside by Loch Lomond, surrounded by wonderful scenery and wildlife. Run by the same family since 1959, this is a relaxed and friendly place to stay. As well as a selection of beautiful bedrooms, the hotel has a bar, restaurant and marina for those arriving by boat.

All 12 of the bedrooms, on the first or second floors, are very comfortable and include en suite facilities, with some offering views of Loch Lomond. There are Standard and Superior Rooms, or the luxurious Squires Junior Suite with many extras including a freestanding copper bath. Families of up to 4 can be accommodated.

The restaurant is open throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the menu showcasing some of the finest and freshest local ingredients. There is also a lounge bar serving an excellent range of Scottish whiskies and much more. Guests can also play pool. A dining area on the terrace offers uninterrupted loch views.

Ardlui Holiday Home Park offers 7 different self-catering lodges, most of which are on the edge of the loch. Some include a hot tub or sauna, with the facilities of the hotel only a few seconds walk away. Wakeboard, wake surf and water-ski lessons are available, along with stand-up paddle board and kayak hire, plus speedboat trips.
