The Jays

In a wonderful location, The Jays is a holiday home for 5 guests located in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains, in the peaceful village of Bryansford, County Down. Providing first class amenities, this comfortable self-catering holiday home is close to many attractions including Tollymore Forest Park and is also just 2-and-a-half miles from the popular seaside town of Newcastle which has a sandy beach.

The sitting room provides a lovely space in which to relax, with its sofa, armchairs, TV and open fire. The kitchen is fully-fitted and includes a dishwasher and a dining table. The 3 bedrooms include a downstairs double en suite room, plus there is a single bedroom and a room with bunk beds upstairs. The bathroom is also upstairs. Wifi is available. The enclosed rear courtyard garden has a table and chairs.

The Mournes are the highest mountain range in Northern Ireland and are designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of footpaths to explore. Covering an area of almost 630 hectares, Tollymore Forest Park is open to the public all year with walking and orienteering opportunities. Newcastle has a good range of supermarkets, retail outlets, plus cafés and restaurants.
