The Stableyard Guest Accommodation and Self Catering Cottages

The Stableyard is in the village of Bangor-on-Dee, close to the town of Wrexham. It is the oldest property in Bangor-on-Dee and offers luxury self-catering accommodation which has been accredited as 4-Star by the Welsh Tourist Board.

The accommodation comprises 2 single bedroom barn conversion cottages, the 2-bedroom Stableyard Cottage plus a Studio. Derwen sleeps 3, Afon sleeps 3, Stableyard sleeps 4 to 5 with 2 en-suite bedrooms, and we also have a studio apartment which sleeps 1. All are thoughtfully furnished and include modern facilities and a small patio area. There is free Wifi, digital television, washing machine, fridge freezer, hairdryer and ironing facilities in all. Bed linen and towels are also provided, and we have travel cot available.

Visit Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse which is just short walk away from the cottages. There are a lot of attractions to visit in Wrexham which is a short journey from the cottages, such as Pontcysyllte and Chick aqueducts, Errdig Hall, Alyn Waters Country Park, the Ty Mawr Country Park, the Techniquest Glyndwr and the Action Park. There are many fishing, golfing, walking and cycling opportunities nearby making The Stableyard the ideal venue for your visit to North Wales.
