17 The Lanes

17 The Lanes is a traditional stone cottage offering a comfortable holiday home in Wirksworth. A former miner’s cottage, which has been sensitively refurbished to provide modern self-catering amenities for 4 guests, dogs are also welcome. This cottage provides a wonderful base from which to explore the Derbyshire Dales and Peaks.

Providing a cosy place to relax, the lounge features leather sofas, a wood burning stove and TV. There is also a fully-fitted kitchen including a washing machine and dining table. Guests will find a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom. Wifi is available throughout and travel cots can be provided for accompanying infants.

The enclosed garden is accessed via a footbridge from the first floor. Here, there is a lawned area, patio with a table and chairs and a beautiful rose arch. Off-road parking for 2 cars is available at the front of the cottage. Wirksworth town centre, with its shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants and museum is a 20-minute walk away.
