Welcome to Hillside Cottage, a stone house dating from the 19th century, offering self-catering holiday accommodation in the Derbyshire market town of Wirksworth. Full of original features, whilst being furnished in a modern Scandinavian style, it also benefits from a beautiful garden and scenic views across the Peak District.

The ideal romantic escape for a couple, or for walking and cycling enthusiasts, there is a king size bed in the bedroom up the original cottage staircase. The downstairs area has a cosy sitting room with sofa, TV and a wood burning stove in the inglenook fireplace. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining table set for 2 people.

The lovely garden is a feature of the cottage, with the trees and shrubbery maintaining privacy. There is a seating area on the patio providing commanding views of the surrounding hills. There is also free on-street car parking and footpaths from the doorstep. The local shops, amenities and museum are a 10-minute stroll away.
