Wasp Nest Cottage

Welcome to Wasp Nest Cottage, a 19th century former mill worker’s residence situated in the village of Holymoorside, just 2 miles west of Chesterfield and 8 miles from Matlock. Ideally placed to visit historic Chatsworth House and the Peak District National Park, it is the perfect holiday home for couples or families.

The cottage sleeps 2 - 5 people. The sitting room has a feature coffee table, sofa bed, armchairs, electric fire and television. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a washing machine and hand-made breakfast bar. There is also a hand-made dining table with chairs, in the conservatory that leads out into the garden.

Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with double bed, timber-cladded cabin room with small double bed and a bathroom. The enclosed garden at the rear of the cottage has a bistro set and a garden shed, and there is on-street parking available at the front. There is a pub, restaurant and children’s play area in the village.
