Offering a wonderfully scenic location in the Lledr Valley, in Pont-y-pant, Camp Snowdonia is a traditional campsite with self-catering accommodation, set alongside the river on Tan Aeldroch Farm, 3 miles by road from Betws-y-Coed. Perfect for walkers and cyclists, this is the closest campsite to the stunning gorges and waterfalls along Fisherman’s Walk.
There are 4 camping areas. The Main Campsite accommodates caravans, campervans and tents, with toilets and water provided. Long Stay Secluded is for those who wish to leave their tent up for longer periods, equipped with water, electricity and a compost toilet. There is also the car-free Eco-Campsite, and Bubble Field, which can be hired for sole-use.
A quiet site with no showering facilities, children and on-lead dogs are welcome. Campfires are allowed on specified fire rings only. River Cottage, a 19th century cottage for 4 guests and the luxury chalet sleeping 4 to 6 can be hired for self-catering holidays. Dolwyddelan Castle is close by and there is fishing along the river.
