Woodland Rise Camping & Caravan Site

Woodland Rise Camping and Caravan Site is a small, welcoming site situated in the picturesque hamlet of Blaen-y-Coed, 8 miles north-west of Carmarthen. Family-friendly, with dogs also allowed, this is a peaceful and secluded location in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, ideal for a stopover or holiday break.

There are 5 electric hardstanding pitches and 10 grass pitches with an optional electric hook-up provided, for either caravans, motorhomes or tents. Guests have access to the 2 heated wet rooms with showers and toilets. The small on-site shop sells refreshments and offers fire pit or barbeque hire, as well as calor gas exchange.

The nearest pub is 2 miles away in Cynwyl Elfed, and there is a post office here too. Carmarthen Golf Club is 3 miles away, and there are numerous scenic hiking and biking routes all around the area. The Gwili Steam Heritage Railway provides an interesting ride, following the River Gwili on the old Carmarthen to Aberystwyth line. With so much to see and do in the area you will be spoilt for choice here!
