Thriftwood Country Park

Welcome to Thriftwood Country Park, a Visit England 5-Star Gold Award and Honey Bee Friendly site, located near Sevenoaks, in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, conveniently close to excellent transport links, including the motorway network. Providing a peaceful setting, with open spaces and woodland walks, Thriftwood is ideal for solo travellers, couples, friends and families, with on-lead dogs also welcome to stay.

Touring and seasonal pitches are available. Facilities include 24-hour CCTV, good site lighting, fob-operated rising bollards, refurbished WCs and showers with family and disabled facilities, hairdryers, dishwashing, fresh water points, refuse areas, chemical disposal, Calor gas, a heated outdoor swimming pool and 12 woodland acres. Sam’s Bar has an American pool table, dart board, board games and regular entertainment.

The park is situated high above sea level, on Kent’s highest point called Wrotham Hill, benefitting from some of the driest and hottest summer days in the south-east, as well as beautiful snow-covered days in the winter. The site is only 3.3 miles from Borough Green, which provides supermarkets, places to eat and leisure facilities. Close by attractions include London Golf Club, 2.4 miles away, and Brands Hatch Race Circuit which is 3.4 miles away.
