Halse Farm Caravan and Campsite is set within a picturesque location in the centre of Exmoor National Park. A friendly, relaxed and family-run site surrounded by open fields and countryside, home to the resident farm animals and native wildlife including red kites and Exmoor ponies, it provides a peaceful holiday haven.
There are pitches with and without 10-amp hook-up, for caravans, motorhomes or tents, with children and dogs very welcome. The site has a heated amenities block with toilets and free hot showers, plus facilities for disabled guests and baby changing, a launderette, Wifi access, gas exchange and chemical toilet disposal point.
Younger visitors will also find a children’s play area. Maps can be hired detailing circular walks from the farm. At night, there are beautiful dark skies for stargazing. The nearby village of Winsford is a mile away, with a pub, tea rooms and post office. The glorious beaches along Somerset’s north coast are within half an hour’s drive.
