Greenacres Campsite

Greenacres Campsite provides family and dog-friendly camping in the heart of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Facilities include a shop selling essentials, café, heated shower block with a disabled / family shower room including babychanging and bath, a washing-up area, dishwasher, laundrette, chemical waste disposal, water sourced from a borehole, a play area for children and there are fire pits to hire and wood to buy on-site.

This quiet campsite has 17 hardstanding pitches and 23 grass pitches, all with electric hook-up.  Campervans, motorhomes and caravans are welcome and it is recommended that larger vehicles pitch on the hardstanding areas. BBQs and firepits are allowed but must be placed off the ground. The campsite reception area is open from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. Arrivals are taken from 1pm but if arriving after 6pm, please let us know.

Greenacres Campsite is the perfect base for exploring the area. The nearby market town of Coleford has a wide range of independent shops including a greengrocers, bakery, butchers and deli, along with supermarkets, cafés and pubs. The River Wye offers bankside walks, canoeing, wild swimming and glorious scenery. The Forest of Dean is an area of ancient woodland with many off-road quiet forestry tracks, ideal for walking and cycling.
