Farrs Meadow

Overlooking the Stour Valley, a 15-minute walk from Wimborne town centre, Farrs Meadow is a camping site, with a variety of rustic holiday homes to hire. On National Cycle Route 25, the site is also only a few minutes’ walk by footpath to the River Stour where campers can swim and fish, plus there is a pub a short stroll across the fields.

The meadow accommodates tents only, with children and dogs welcome. There are also the 5 Kyrgyz yurts sleeping 2 adults and 2 children and equipped with a double bed, 2 camp beds and outside seating area with firepit. The Old Stable, gypsy caravans and 2 shepherd’s huts provide comfortable beds for families of 4 guests.

The eco toilets and hot showers are located in upcycled horse boxes and there is a fridge / freezer. Fly and coarse fishing can be arranged from the site, on the River Stour on the private bank of Deans Court Estate. Exclusive hire of Farrs Meadow for special occasions, weddings or groups is also available by arrangement.
