Open all year round for camping and touring holidays adjacent to Wareham Forest, Birchwood Tourist Park is AA 4-Pennant rated. Just 2 miles from Wareham town and directly on the Wareham Forest Way, this park is also close to the Sika Cycle Trail. The fascinating and beautiful Jurassic Coast is also within a short car drive.
There are non-electric grass pitches for all types of vehicles and tents; electric pitches with 10-amp electric hook-ups mainly on a grass surface; semi-serviced pitches on grass or hardstanding with water, 15-amp electricity and TV point; or the fully-serviced pitches with added waste drainage for caravans, motorhomes and RVs.
Rallies and dogs are welcome and seasonal pitches or caravan storage facilities can be arranged. The site has heated free toilets and showers, a launderette, washing-up sinks and motorhome service point. Visitors will also find opportunities for fun on the games field, at the pitch and putt, in the games room or playground.
