Lyons Gate Holiday Park

Lyons Gate Holiday Park, open from the 1st of February, is a 30-acre site in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a popular destination for camping and touring breaks. Situated near the Cerne Abbas Giant, between Dorchester and Sherbourne, this park has AA 4-Pennant facilities, fishing lakes and nature walks.

There are nearly 100 pitches provided for caravans, motorhomes and tents, all with either a 10 or a 16-amp power supply. Lakeside pitches with their own peg are available, so you can enjoy fishing on the doorstep. There are heated toilets and hot showers, disabled facilities, dishwashing sinks, Wifi access and a laundry room.

The static caravans, sleeping 4 to 6 people, are also available for holiday hire. The 4 fishing lakes are central to the park and kept well-stocked with many types of fish, including carp, tench and roach. There is also an on-site shop selling tackle, bait and refreshments. Dogs are allowed and there are scenic walks straight from the park.
