Woodyhyde Campsite offers 15 acres of open countryside and a scenic place to camp, on South Dorset’s Isle of Purbeck. AA 3-Pennant rated, this site is only 20 minutes’ walk from Corfe Castle and 4 miles from stunning cliff top walks along the world-famous Jurassic Coast, so ideally located for exploring the area on foot, by bicycle or car.
Family-run and family-friendly, there are over 150 pitches spanning 3 fields, 2 of which allow dogs. One offers views across the local heritage railway where you can watch the steam trains puffing past. Catering for tents, motorhomes and campervans, there are grass and hardstanding pitches, including many with electric hook-up.
The site has 2 shower / toilet blocks powered by solar energy, with disabled access, washing-up sinks, and extra toilets. The shop stocks a range of groceries, ice creams, beer and wine, plus camping equipment and there is gas exchange. Corfe Castle village has a pub and railway station where you can catch mainline and steam trains.
