Kingsdown Tail Caravan and Camping Park is a family-friendly site with on-lead dogs allowed, situated near the village of Salcombe Regis in the East Devon AONB. Once the site of a royal hunting ground, guests to this site enjoy AA 5-Pennant and Visit England 5-Star rated facilities. Hosts Vicki and David provide a warm welcome.
Caravans, motorhomes and tents are all welcome, with a choice of grass and hardstanding pitches, with and without electric hook-up. Guests can also stay in the Standard or Family timber glamping pods for 2 or 5 guests, with heating, lighting, mains electricity, TV and an outside area. Cherry Tree House is a treehouse for 2 people!
The site has a heated toilet and unisex shower block, with family and disabled bathroom facilities, plus there is an extra shower block in the camping field. Facilities include an indoor play area, outdoor play area including a pirate ship, games area with giant chess and more, plus a field for rounders, badminton, cricket and football. Guests will also find a reception / shop / café. Food vans visit the site during the spring and summer.
