Kingsmead Centre

Kingsmead Centre is an established family-run holiday site situated in the beautiful Blackdown Hills, in Clayhidon, near Taunton. Offering camping, glamping and self-catering accommodation on a lovely site nestled amongst woodland with on-site fishing lakes, all visitors can expect a warm welcome and enjoyable break.

Campers and tourers can choose from the electric-provided grass or hardstanding pitches on the main field area, the standard pitches in the lower field, or the secluded tent pitches in the woods. There are 2 well-maintained toilet and showering blocks, including a washing-up area and freezers.

For glampers, there are the 2 cosy bell tents and the woodland yurt sleeping 2 adults and 2 children, with a wood burning stove and private bathroom in the main amenities block. The 4 static caravans, sleeping 4, are perfect for families, featuring their own kitchen, shower room, central heating and outdoor decking area.

All guests staying at Kingsmead are welcome to use the launderette, communal barbeque area and the shop selling a good range of everyday essentials. Dogs are also allowed and there is a walking field and shower especially for them!
