Westland Farm

On the western edge of Exmoor National Park, Westland Farm offers back-to-basics countryside camping, just like it used to be! Families are welcome, as are well-behaved dogs. The nearest village is Blackmoor Gate and the historic market town of Barnstable is about 11.5 miles away, providing a host of good amenities. The North Devon coast is also within easy reach, with golden sandy beaches, hidden coves and fishing villages.

Open from the end of May to Mid-September each year, this is the place if visitors want to camp in an open field under twinkling stars, with a small campfire outside the tent. Our camping area offers plenty of space for all. As we charge per person, not per pitch, there is no extra charge for bell tents and you are welcome to bring gazebos or WC tents. Exclusive booking of the whole field can be arranged, subject to availability.

Facilities include a heated toilet and shower block, dishwashing facilities, laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, drying room, a fridge freezer and electric points for charging phones. Large nets of logs are available to buy. There is plenty of room for children to play and they can visit the farm animals and collect freshly laid eggs from the hens. The farm also has a glamping site with a choice of huts and Crinckley Cabin.
