Gear Farm

For enjoyable back-to-basics camping, come to Gear Farm located within the Lizard Heritage Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to the south-east of Helston. A small but friendly family-run and family-friendly site situated in the scenic Helford River valley area and surrounded by rolling countryside, this site provides the perfect base from which to relax, enjoy the outdoors and go sight-seeing.

Pitches are spacious, catering for campervans, motorhomes, caravans and tents. With no electric or Wifi, guests can switch off from the outside world and enjoy peace and quiet! There are showers, WCs, washing-up sinks, fridge-freezers and a large open grass area for games. Dogs are welcome. Gear Farm Shop sells local meat, fish, cheese, veg, homemade organic Cornish pasties and pizzas.

As well as abundant scenic local walks and cycling routes, there are also opportunities for numerous types of water sports, including paddleboarding and kayaking along the river and coast, with glorious sandy beaches and hidden coves to discover. The nearest village is Gweek, which is 2 miles away, containing a pub, convenience store, children’s play area and the Cornish Seal Sanctuary attraction.
