The Strone

The Strone, in the pretty lochside village of Luss, is a Visit Scotland 5-Star rated stone-built holiday cottage with spacious gardens, accommodating up to 10 people, with pets also welcome to stay by arrangement. The pier and shores of Loch Lomond are within a 2-minute walk and the area provides a wealth of wonderful sight-seeing opportunities and a range of outdoors pursuits.

The lounge has scenic garden views from the bay windows and a wood burning stove in the slate fireplace, as well as comfortable sofas, a sofa bed and large TV. The recently-renovated kitchen is fully-equipped and includes 2 integrated ovens, a wine cooler, coffee making machine, dishwasher and breakfast bar. The dining room has a large table seating up to 12 people.

There are 4 bedrooms altogether, including The Master 4-poster en suite room, 2 king size bedrooms with en suite / private facilities and a twin room which is the only upstairs bedroom. There is a bathroom and separate shower room. Two foldout beds can be placed anywhere in the property and there is a double lounge sofa bed, plus a travel cot is available on request.

The property includes laundry facilities. Outside, is an enclosed garden area with a play house, swings, table tennis and a barbeque area with Tiki bar. There is car parking for up to 6 cars and watercraft can also be parked on the property’s courtyard. Guests will find a small store selling basic provisions close to The Strone and several supermarkets will deliver groceries to the door.
