Old Smiddy Cottage

Old Smiddy Cottages are in an idyllic waterside location within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, with breathtaking views of Loch Katrine and the surrounding mountains of Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi and Ben Venue. In the hamlet of Stronachlachar, just 11 miles from the village of Aberfoyle, this is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday.

Both cottages accommodate up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and are stylishly furnished in a contemporary style. Guests will find a large lounge featuring a wood burning stove, 2 leather sofas, TV and French doors to the patio, plus a kitchen including a washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a dining table in the kitchen or lounge.

All the bedrooms in Old Smiddy Cottage are upstairs, with a master double bedroom with en suite facilities and 2 twin rooms. Waterside has a downstairs twin room and a master double en suite bedroom and twin room upstairs. Both cottages have a main bathroom and cloakroom with extra WC. Outside, is a waterside seating area.
