Nether Glenny Farm and Cottages

Nether Glenny Farm is a working hillside farm offering 3 self-catering holiday cottages and a bothy, in the Menteith Hills, within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Near Port of Menteith village, the properties are set in our 84-acres, home to Highland and Short Horn cattle, pet sheep, pigs, peacocks, Australian Cattle Dogs, cats and lots of other native wildlife. Hosts Alison and Matt look forward to welcoming you.

The cottages include Wifi and TV. Kestrel is for 2 guests, with lake views, plus a king size bedroom opening to the conservatory dining room and separate lounge and kitchen. There is also an outside patio. Buzzard sleeps 3 people with a double and a single bedroom, both with an en suite, plus there is a spacious living area. Merlin also sleeps 2 with a king size bed in the open plan living / sleeping area, with en suite shower and a hot tub.

The Bothy is a timber-built cabin with no Wifi or TV, providing an ‘off-the grid’ experience for 2 guests. There is a spacious downstairs open plan design and a double bed up the ladder in the gallery. A shower room and outside Hikki hot tub completes this accommodation. Farm tours can be arranged. This rural retreat is only a short drive to Aberfoyle and Stirling, with the local area offering many activities, attractions and amenities.
