The Charterhouse B&B

The Charterhouse is a traditional Edwardian-era bed and breakfast with an outdoor seasonal swimming pool, nestled on a hillslope in a scenic area of Torquay. In a great location, it is just a short walk down to Livermead Sands beach in one direction and through the water meadows to the beautiful Cockington village in the other.

All 10 of the guest bedrooms are individual in style and equipped with en suite shower facilities, complimentary toiletries, TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and a hospitality tray. There are double, twin, family, a suite of 2 interconnecting rooms with a double and children’s room, plus dog-friendly Garden Rooms for 2 - 4 people.

Guests can also relax in the lounge, conservatory or outside in the garden where there is the swimming pool. Breakfast is served in the dining room with a choice of a full English, smoked kippers or homemade American-style pancakes. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with notice. On-site parking is provided.
