Riverside House

Riverside House is a beautiful 18th century thatched home, situated along the water’s edge of the River Dart in Tuckenhay. Sleeping up to 10 guests, just 3 miles from Totnes and 7 miles from the lovely beaches and towns of the English Riviera, it provides an idyllic setting for group holidays and family reunions.

The kitchen looks directly out onto the river, with a large table in the centre of the room for everyone. The living room has a cosy wood burning stove in the old fireplace, a sofa, armchairs, TV, DVD player and a Victorian piano. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 with en suite facilities, and 2 which share a shower room.

Outside, the pretty garden has seating, a BBQ and slipway onto the river if you wish to bring your own kayak or canoe. Canoe hire can also be arranged nearby and the Dart Valley Trail walking route, from Totnes to Dartmouth, runs close by. There is a riverside pub serving food a short walk from the house.
