The Wayside and Whisky Barn

The Wayside and Whisky Barn offers bed and breakfast rooms, a self-catering cottage, bar and restaurant, in Whitbeck, north of Millom. Dating from the 17th century, this farm setting is located where the Lake District meets the coast, overlooked by Black Combe Fell, and with the beach within walking distance. Whisky tasting experiences are available.

Each of the B & B rooms are unique, incorporating the original stone walls and beamed ceilings with modern comforts. There are double and twin rooms with luxurious bathroom facilities. Windermere is in a separate self-contained building featuring a wood burning stove, double bed and private bathroom. A hearty Lakes breakfast is included.

Wayside Cottage 1637 is a holiday home for 4 guests with 2 bedrooms, a lounge, conservatory, kitchen, dining room, 2 bathrooms and private garden. Dogs are allowed in some rooms and in the cottage.
