Oakfold House

Dating from 1899 and built from Lakeland stone, Oakfold House is conveniently located between Bowness and Windermere, just a short walk from Lake Windermere itself and the other main attractions and amenities. Friendly hosts Rob and Clare provide a warm welcome and a home-from-home! The house has a free car park.

Each of the 8 guest bedrooms are unique in style and are thoughtfully furnished to complement the original architecture. All are spotlessly clean, with an en suite shower room, complimentary toiletries, TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and a hospitality tray. Guests can also relax in the lounge area or outside in the garden with pond.

An Aga-cooked Full Cumbrian breakfast helps to start the day. Other options include smoked salmon or organic porridge with almonds and local honey. Guests will also find plenty of options from the cold buffet. Special diets are happily catered for with prior notice. There is a guest fridge and fresh milk available during your stay.
