The Sunny Field Campsite is an off-the-grid site covering 8 acres, offering camping and glamping in the Kent Downs AONB. Family-run and dog-friendly, the site is near Maxted Street, 8 miles from Canterbury, with views across the surrounding meadows towards rolling hills, providing the perfect place for holidays, walkers and cyclists.
The camping meadow is car-free, with wheelbarrows provided to transport your equipment from the parking area. The pitches are spacious with their own campfires and there are pitches for small campervans also available. Guests can use the compost loos, converted horse boxes with hot showers and the potwashing sinks.
The 8 bell tents can be hired for couples or families. Each is beautifully-furnished and equipped with a double bed, camping stove, grill, pots and pans, plus an outside firepit. Homemade wood fired pizzas are served on-site at weekends and beauty treatments and therapies can be arranged. Please see the website for more details.
