Monckton Cottages

Monckton Cottages are 3 elegant holiday homes nestled in the historic village of Chilham in the Kent Downs, only 6 miles from Canterbury. The properties, converted from a half-timbered 15th century manor house and surrounded by 4 acres of gardens, provide self-catering accommodation.

Lavender and Mistletoe Cottages both sleep 2 and Heron Manor sleeps 3 to 5 people. They all have a log burning stove, equipped kitchen, free Wifi and a garden area. There is an inn, hotel bar, sports centre and post office in the village, with a farm shop, cidery and café at the farm outside the village.

The North Downs Way and Pilgrims’ Way pass close by and there are many shorter trails around Kent’s bluebell forests. There are also water sports activities along the Great Stour River. The medieval walled city of Canterbury offers a range of superb attractions, including the cathedral and many more.
