Wee Waif Lodge

The Wee Waif Hotel is a family-friendly Greene King establishment offering excellent accommodation and a pub in the Berkshire village of Charvil. Easily located off the A4 road, with parking, the hotel is just 5 minutes’ drive from Twyford Station, which is located on the new Elizabeth Line, taking travellers into central London.

There are 42 bedrooms in the adjoining purpose-built lodge which are each equipped with full en suite bathroom facilities, a desk, TV, telephone, Wifi, hospitality tray and room service. There are double rooms, twin size and family rooms for 3 people with a sofa bed made-up. An optional breakfast helps to start the day.

The pub is open throughout the day, where overnight guests can also enjoy discounted rates for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Famous for our Big Plate Specials, there is a kid’s menu and options for special diets. Live TV sports and regular entertainment is provided. Guests can enjoy pool or darts and sit out in the beer garden.

Attractions found in and around the area include Caversham Court Gardens, the Museum of English Rural Life, Forbury Gardens and Abbey Ruins or Beale Park. There are also a number of National Trust and English Heritage properties and retail therapy available at Reading’s Oracle Shopping Centre and in the town centre.
