Nestled serenely on a Lakeland fell-top, and boasting stunning views of Lake Windermere and fells, Blenheim Lodge is tranquilly situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Built in 1868, Blenheim Lodge has retained many of its original Victorian features. Each room is unique in look and feel; and, in keeping with their lovely quirky 19th-century character and charm, many rooms boast antique pieces such as our beautiful Louis XV beds and William IV 4-Posters. Our beds are topped with comfortable handmade deep pocket sprung and memory foam mattresses for an excellent night’s sleep! Stay with us at Blenheim Lodge for a home from home atmosphere, where you can relax and slumber to the sound of silence, and awaken to glorious birdsong.

Ten bedrooms offer outstanding lake and mountain views of Lake Windermere and its surrounding and distant fells. One room, The Dalesway, overlooks Brant Fell and the famous long distance footpath for which it was named. Blenheim Lodge itself is situated on Brant Fell, and The Dales Way Footpath on this pretty fell is literally a minute’s stroll from our door, and traverses a conveniently located haven of countryside quietness and beauty which so many of our Lakeland walkers and visitors enjoy. Wander at will across National Trust acres and trails: panoramic as well as 360-degree viewpoints and even a tarn (School Knott Tarn) range from 1-40 minutes' stroll from our front door!

Blenheim Lodge truly offers the best of both worlds! One feels far away from it all here; yet only a short 5-minute walk downhill are the shops, restaurants, services, attractions and activities many guests enjoy. We offer FREE on-site parking; FREE WIFI; a comfortable guest lounge with Lake Windermere and fell views, and home-cooked breakfasts using local produce, including handmade sausages and hand-cured bacon from our family butcher. Free range eggs are delivered to our door by the local free range farm.
