Royal Oak

Helen Browning’s Royal Oak Pub and Rooms is an award-winning pub and restaurant with guest accommodation in the Wiltshire village of Bishopstone. Set amongst 1500-acres of organic farmland, the pub is just 5 miles from the M4 and 8 miles from Swindon. As well as 12 beautiful en suite guest bedrooms, visitors will find a friendly bar and unique dining experience, with dishes created using high quality ingredients produced on the farm.

Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished and unique in style and name, located in a separate building across the courtyard from the main pub. Choose from Double, King Size, Super King, Super King or Twin and Luxury Super King. Families are welcome and there are dog-friendly rooms. Guests can also relax in The Wallow shared space with tri-fold doors to the courtyard, comfy seating, books, magazines, games, a record player and refreshments.

The Royal Oak serves ‘farm to fork’ meals. The menu changes most days and always seasonally. Depending on the time of year, the pub serves its own lamb and beef and always our own pork, bacon, sausages and eggs. The bar is stocked with an excellent selection of drinks including real ales, spirits, organic wines and organic soft drinks.
