Red Lion

Red Lion at Castle Eaton is a welcoming gastropub offering shepherd’s hut bed and breakfast accommodation in a village location overlooking the River Thames, on the edge of the Cotswolds between Cirencester and Swindon, just off the M4 and A419. There are walks from the doorstep including the Thames Path.

The hut is very comfortable, sleeping 1 or 2 people and featuring its own kitchenette with fridge, double bed, private shower room, seating area and fire pit outside along the river bank. A continental breakfast hamper is also included in the hut tariff to ensure a good start to the day. There is ample on-site car parking.

Visitors can enjoy great home cooked food in the pub or outside on the terrace, with the signature Tomahawk steaks a popular choice. Menus are available to view on the website. The bar is stocked with a wide range of drinks, with an impressive wine list and featuring real ales from the traditional Donnington Brewery.
