Church Farm Holiday Cottages

Church Farm Holiday Cottages comprise 3 AA 4-Star rated self-catering cottages located on a family-run farm in the village of Broughton Gifford, near the town of Melksham in Wiltshire. Surrounded by peaceful open fields and countryside, on-site facilities include a well-stocked coarse fishing lake, outdoor swimming pool and farm shop selling produce from the farm and local area. Hosts Martin and Sharon Hooper offer a warm welcome.

Each cottage is a former farm building which has been sensitively renovated to provide self-catering accommodation suitable for short breaks (with a minimum 3-nights), holidays or longer-term stays. Each of the properties retains many charming original features and offers amenities including a modern kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine; television, Wifi access and an outside picnic bench on the terrace area.

All on ground floor level with ramp access, The Dairy is the former milking parlour. Sleeping 4, it has a double and a twin bedroom, both with a private bathroom. Walnut Tree Cottage sleeps 5 people with a downstairs double bedroom with private bathroom, plus a twin and single room upstairs with a main bathroom. Oak Tree Cottage for 4 has a downstairs twin room and bathroom, plus a large en suite double bedroom upstairs.

Guests are welcome to go fishing on the lake and enjoy the outdoor solar heated swimming pool and large lawned paddock for games and barbeques. There is also use of a tennis court (by arrangement only) and ample on-site parking. Broughton Gifford offers a selection of footpaths and bridleways, some of which criss-cross the farm, plus a village pub, which is within walking or cycling distance.
