The George Townhouse

The George Townhouse is a Georgian former coaching inn located in the centre of the historic market town of Shipston-on-Stour, on the doorstep of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The inn provides a welcoming place to stay, with a selection of 15 elegant bedrooms, home cooked meals, a well-stocked bar and car parking.

The bedrooms are decorated with a range of attractive furnishings complementing the original architecture. There are Cosy, Classic, Superior and Deluxe Rooms and the spacious Suite on the top floor. All rooms have en suite facilities, spa toiletries, TV, free Wifi and a coffee pod machine. The breakfast menu includes dishes such as a Full English, Eggs Benedict or Florentine, buttermilk pancakes and Belgian waffles.

The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, with an excellent menu also featuring options for special diets and children. The bar provides a range of drinks including craft gins, whiskies and contemporary cocktails, with plenty of cosy corners in which to enjoy a chat with friends.
