Ye Olde White Harte Hotel

Ye Olde White Harte Hotel is beautifully situated along the banks of the River Crouch in the historic Essex town of Burnham-on-Crouch. Dating back to the 1860s, the hotel offers views across the water to Wallasea Island, and provides a friendly place to stay, with 19 charming guest bedrooms, a restaurant and 2 traditional bars.

Basic Rooms have a single, double or twin beds and share bathroom facilities. Standard Rooms feature a double or twin beds and an en suite shower room, and the spacious Superior Rooms benefit from river views, a full en suite bathroom and either king size, twin or triple beds. A Full English or continental-style breakfast is included.

Food is also served at lunchtime and in the evening in the character-filled restaurant with its beamed ceilings, warming log fires and large leaded windows which look across the river. The traditional bars have an excellent selection of drinks, including local ales, and cosy seating areas to enjoy a quiet drink with family and friends.
