Playden Oasts Inn

Welcome to Playden Oasts Inn which has been newly refurbished in 2021. This is a friendly pub with a restaurant and bed and breakfast rooms, housed in a former 19th century Oast house just outside the historic town of Rye. Full of character, with the roundel towers still intact and the old exposed beams still visible, the Inn provides a unique place to visit.

There are 8 guest bedrooms, all decorated in a country style with their own en suite facilities. Each has WiFi, TV, hairdryer, ironing facilities & beverage tray. There are Doubles, a Family rooms, and 2 King sized Roundel Rooms, complete with unique round beds situated in the top of the towers with their own private Juliet balconies. Some rooms on the ground floor are dog friendly with one room having its own private garden. Also available available is a self contained one bedroom studio cottage.

A delicious breakfast is included in our room rates. There are 2 restaurant areas, one of which allows pets. Both offer freshly prepared traditional British food made from local ingredients, with a good choice for vegetarians. Guests can also relax with a drink from our well-stocked bar. Outside, there is private car parking and a lovely garden to sit out in during warmer months.
