Dating back to the 1100s, The Skirrid Mountain Inn is said to be one of the oldest inns in Wales and features in many local folklores and legends! The inn is located in the Monmouthshire village of Llanvihangel Crucorney, 5 miles north of Abergavenny, in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Visitors will discover an interior of exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces, as well as some surprises, due to the inn being noted as one of Britain’s’ most haunted pubs! There is a well-stocked bar and homecooked food, with 3 double en suite guest bedrooms offering overnight accommodation. A complimentary breakfast is included. There is also a free car park and walkers / cyclists are welcome to stay. Buses to and from Abergavenny and Pontypool are available from the bus stop outside the pub.
