The White Horse Inn

The White Horse Inn is a welcoming 16th century pub with rooms situated in the heart of Clun, within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Just a short walk from the river and castle, the inn offers comfortable bedrooms, delicious food and a well-stocked bar with beer from the inn’s very own microbrewery.

Full of interesting features including exposed stone walls, wooden beams and inglenook fireplaces, the inn’s bedrooms are all comfortably furnished with TV, Wifi, hairdryer and a refreshment tray. There are double or twin-bedded and a family room, with dogs allowed. A complimentary breakfast is served in the inn in the morning.

Food is available throughout the day, including a terrific Sunday lunch. Visitors can eat in the bar, dining room or out in the garden. There is also a selection of drinks including coffees, wines and the ales produced on-site at The Clun Brewery. The town’s museum is just opposite and there are many scenic walks around the local area.
