The Old Station

Welcome to The Old Station, a Victorian-era former railway station now offering AA 4-Star rated bed and breakfast accommodation, in Leaton, near Shrewsbury. Sensitively renovated, with many original features still visible, it provides a comfortable place to stay for railway enthusiasts and other visitors exploring the area.

The bedrooms are named after the GWR steam engines that used to travel on the line, and have their own en suite shower room facilities. There are double, twin, triple and family rooms including the ground floor Clive of India Suite which sleeps 3 people and is wheelchair-friendly, with an en suite wet room and improved accessibility.

Wifi is provided throughout and there is ample car parking. Guests can enjoy breakfast and evening meals in the old waiting room, relax in the former ticket office (which is now a comfortable sitting room), or sit outside on the patio areas or old platform. Dogs are allowed. Family reunions, special occasions and parties can be hosted.
