The Poppy House

The Poppy House is a licensed tea room and restaurant offering guest accommodation in the medieval town of Bishop’s Castle. Situated on the Market Square in a great place for exploring the town, this accommodation is also ideally placed for exploring the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Powys, Mid-Wales.

The bedrooms have benefitted from a recent refurbishment and are decorated in a style complimenting the original architectural features. Each has en suite facilities, TV, fridge, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There are 2 queen-bedded rooms and 2 family rooms with a double bed, single and space for a travel cot or folding bed.

A full English, full vegetarian or smoked fish breakfast is available in the morning, either served in the restaurant or the comfort of your own room. Packed lunches can also be provided.
