The Colloquy

The Colloquy is a large country house on the White Heron Estate, to the north of the village of Lyonshall, near Kington and the Herefordshire / Powys border. Sensitively converted from Victorian-era former stable buildings, the accommodation is surrounded by 700-acres and features a private garden, hot tub, sauna, squash court and EV charging. Sleeping from 16 to 23 guests, The Colloquy is ideal for group holidays, parties or corporate events.

The house has various reception rooms; including The Parley with comfy seating, which can also be used as a meeting room or large dining room; The Tack Room, which is more intimate with an open fire, TV and sofas; The Disclosure, with its high ceiling, extendable dining table, large TV and games console; The Whisper for private dining events; and The Clock View, for smaller meetings or pre-dinner aperitifs. Wifi is available throughout.

There are also 5 equipped kitchens, 8 bedrooms (some of which provide additional beds, mostly in a mezzanine area), as well as exclusive access to the swimming pool in the afternoon, spa facilities in the Old Potting Shed, and a spacious walled garden with seating. Catering can be arranged and other cottages on the estate can also be hired for larger groups. Pets are not allowed (except in Gardeners Cottage if taken together with The Colloquy).

Guests can also enjoy guided e-bike or walking tours around the farm. Travel through vineyards, cider apple orchards, blackcurrant fields and woodland, hearing about the history of this 4th generation estate farm, from its beginnings in 1873, to the present day.
