The Furze Bush Inn

The Furze Bush Inn Freehouse, with a hotel and restaurant, is located on the edge of the beautiful Wessex Downs, a few miles from Newbury. In a scenic location in Ball Hill, only 3 miles away from Highclere Castle (the setting for Downton Abbey and a popular attraction), this is an excellent base for tourists and business guests.

There are double, twin and family rooms available. All 9 guest bedrooms feature attractive décor, air conditioning, a comfortable bed, en suite bath or shower room facilities, a desk, television, free Wifi and hospitality tray for making tea and coffee. A delicious breakfast is served to overnight guests in the morning.

The 80-seater restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, with food served all-day at weekends. There is a beautiful garden and a children’s play area outside. Special events can be accommodated at the inn and there is a snooker room with a full-sized table available for private bookings, plus a conference room for meetings.
