The Dovecote

Dovecote Self Catering are 3 delightful holiday cottages on a working farm in the Bedfordshire village of Harrold, 9 miles from Bedford. A scenic rural location along the course of the River Great Ouse, and close to Harrold Odell Country Park, the cottages are nestled around a sunny central courtyard, each offering contemporary amenities whilst retaining beautiful original exposed stone walls and wooden beams.

The Cote; converted from the former dovecote, is a cosy bolthole for 2 people with a super king / twin en suite bedroom upstairs. Stable Cottage is all on ground floor level offering easy access for guests with disabilities. Sleeping 4, it has a master king room and a twin room ,both with en suite facilities. The Coach House is a 3-bedroomed cottage for 5 with double en suite bedroom, a twin and a single room.

All of the properties have attractive décor, a comfortable living area, fully-equipped kitchen, Wifi access, TV with Freeview channels, as well as a lovely outside private patio. Cots and high chairs are available on request. Guests will also find a communal laundry room, a well-lit area providing parking for up to 6 cars and a paddock where ball games are permitted. There is also lots of wildlife to see in and around the farm.
