The Queens

The Queens is a boutique B & B in an excellent location in the centre of South Queensferry, to the west of Edinburgh (with bus services stopping outside the front door). This 19th century Gothic-style property is a short walk from the shores and 3 famous bridges of the River Forth and the town’s amenities. Offering warm and welcoming Scottish and Australian hospitality, courtesy of hosts Angela and Julia, this B & B is LGBTQ+ friendly.

All of the guest bedrooms are named after former queens and furnished to a high standard as one would expect! Queen Margaret is a spacious super king size room; Queen Victoria is a double room with views to the Jubilee Clock; Mary, Queen of Scots is a single room and Queen Elizabeth II can be arranged as a super king or with 2 single beds. All have contemporary décor, en suite shower facilities, TV, free Wifi and hospitality tray.

A full cooked breakfast is served in the morning, offering a fusion of Scottish and Australian influence. There are also tasty options for vegetarian or vegans and those looking for something lighter. Guests are also welcome to relax, play a game or read in front of the fire in the drawing room and a handy laundry service is available. Ideally placed for the John Muir Way long distance route, walking groups are also happily accommodated.
