The Knowes Hotel

A warm welcome awaits guests at The Knowes Hotel, a family-run establishment situated along the stunning Moray Firth Coast, in Macduff. Visit Scotland 3-Star rated with ‘Taste Our Best’ awarded food, there are a selection of beautiful bedrooms, a fine restaurant and function suite for weddings, parties or conferences.

There are 7 bedrooms, each with a super king size or twin beds as preferred. All rooms have en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, TV, Wifi and a hospitality tray, with some offering sea views. Travel cots and foldaway beds for children can be provided. A full Scottish or continental-style breakfast is included in overnight stays.

The restaurant is open throughout the day offering brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals, with dishes featuring the finest Scottish produce. There is a children’s menu, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. In addition, special golfing ‘stay and play’ packages can be arranged. Parking is available at the front of the hotel.

Aberdeenshire offers beautiful surroundings and a rich cultural heritage. Walking, cycling and fishing in the River Deveron are popular and there are golf courses including Royal Tarlair in Macduff and Duff House Royal Golf Club in Banff. Macduff Marine Aquarium is a few minutes’ walk away and there are many other local attractions.
