Corrodale Cottage

Corrodale Cottage is a charming Category B listed building offering self-catering accommodation on the Isle of South Uist. Featuring original stone walls and a thatched roof, it has been sensitively modernised to provide luxurious facilities to Visit Scotland 5-Star rated standards. Situated on the northern tip of the island, in Lochdar, the cottage is a haven for relaxing holidays and outdoors activities.

Sleeping 2, inside, there is a cosy lounge with vaulted ceiling, multi-fuel stove in the fireplace, sofa, Smart TV, Blu-Ray player and dining table. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and coffee pod machine. There is also a lovely bedroom with hand carved 4-poster bed and a stylish bathroom with spa bath, separate shower, ambient lighting and complimentary Scottish toiletries.

The large garden offers a lawn and decked area with bench. There is also an outhouse with a washer / dryer and room for equipment storage. Car parking is provided. The cottage is minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean and some white sandy beaches. Lochdar is located in a crofting community, ideally based for exploring North Uist, Benbecula, Grimsay, South Uist, Berneray, Eriskay and Barra.
