Uist Stormpods

Uist Stormpods on the Isle of South Uist are 2 timber glamping pods set on a hillside with loch views, just a few minutes’ walk to the village of Lochboisdale, the hotel and ferry pier. Hosts Catriona and Graham offer a warm welcome and are happy to offer any assistance. Differing in design, each pod sleeps 4 guests and pets are allowed with prior agreement.

Heron Pod has a living room with a sofa bed and kitchen area, with a separate double bedroom. Oyster-Catcher has an open plan living / sleeping area with sofa bed, bunk beds and a kitchen area. Both are equipped with a sink, fridge, combi-microwave, wet room with shower and chemical toilet, outside private decked area with picnic bench and a parking space.

The pods are situated on a family croft and are separate and facing away from each other, giving total tranquillity and privacy. Visitors can climb Ben Kenneth, visit archaeological sites, fish or take a boat trip all within a few minutes of the pods. The other attractions of Eriskay and South Uist are readily accessible by car, bike, on foot or public transport.
