The Polochar Inn

Located on the south coast of the Isle of South Uist with panoramic sea views, The Polochar Inn, dating from the mid-18th century, is named after the remains of the early Bronze Age standing stone just opposite. Offering comfortable guest rooms, a friendly bar, great food menu and free car parking, come and stay awhile!

The guest bedrooms are beautifully furnished with tartan fabrics and include a TV, free Wifi, hairdryer, trouser press, complimentary toiletries and en suite facilities. There are single, double, twin and family rooms, plus superior rooms with sea views. A hearty Scottish breakfast is served in the restaurant in the morning.

Brunch, lunch and evening meals are also available, with the menu showcasing some of the freshest seafood caught in local waters, as well as other ingredients from the Hebrides. These dishes can be accompanied by an indulgent dessert and / or fine wine. As well as the restaurant indoors, there is an outside seating area.
