Taigh Dobhrain, meaning ‘Otter House’, is a cosy cottage for 2 people, situated on the edge of Loch a’Ghoill on the Isle of North Uist. Built from stone, with a turf roof, it is located in the crofting community of Sidinish, only 11 miles by road from the ferry terminal at Lochmaddy Port. This holiday property is ideal as a base for sight-seeing, walking, cycling and more.

The house is accessed via a set of stone steps that lead down to its entrance, adjacent to the water’s edge. There is an open plan living area with large windows providing uninterrupted loch views, a sofa, multi-fuel burning stove, Smart TV, dining table and equipped kitchen with contemporary amenities including dishwasher, wine cooler and espresso coffee machine.

In addition, the bedroom has a king size bed where you can sleep soundly then wake up to stunning sunrises across the water.
